Combining drone photogrammetry with centimetre-accurate GNSS surveying allows archaeological trenches to be recorded quickly, accurately and consistently. I am experienced in both manual and pre-planned flights, including challenging environments such as wooded sites. I can produce detailed, data-rich orthomosaics and 3D models for archaeological illustration and interpretation. This approach captures far more spatial information than conventional point-by-point GNSS recording, providing a dense, measurable 3D record that can be revisited, analysed and compared after and during an excavation.
